Youngstown Symphony Orchestra Concert Live at Stambaugh Auditorium | Youngstown – October 02nd, 2026

Stambaugh Auditorium is one of those classic venues that just feels like a part of Youngstown’s soul. The place has seen it all, from lively concerts to heartfelt fundraisers, like the annual Mahoning Valley United Way event that’s been a staple since 1990. Walking into the auditorium, you can’t help but notice its history, especially the sturdy wooden seats that, back in the day, gave the hall a warm, almost intimate vibe before they replaced them with plush upholstered seats in 1955. Its location is a real bonus too, just a few blocks from Youngstown State University, making it super easy to get to, whether you're walking or driving. If you score premium seats, you might even get in early, snagging that perfect spot before the crowd rushes in. The main floor is thoughtfully designed, sometimes with layered arrangements to make sure everyone gets a good view, regardless of where you’re sitting. The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra often graces this stage, filling the hall with beautiful music that echoes the city’s rich cultural spirit.
